Portland Conservatories is launching a new turnkey install and full build
service for customers who are looking for a high specification conservatory
backed up by an expert installation service.
Renowned for its quality timber conservatories, Portland was launched in the early 1980s and has supplied countless conservatories throughout the UK in the past 20 years.
The company has reported a 45% increase in sales in the past three months despite the widely reported ‘credit crunch’. Newly appointed Sales Manager Philip Toll, who has a proven track record in leading high end conservatory companies, will head up a growing sales team. To meet demand, the company is currently recruiting new designers and will be increasing its sales force by at least 50% over the next 12 months.
Portland’s new install and full build service ensures that customers will have the opportunity to utilise expert installers to construct their choice of quality timber conservatory or orangery, selected from a wide range of contemporary and traditional designs.
Acquired by Amdega, (the world’s oldest designer and manufacturer of quality bespoke conservatories) in 2004, Portland has recently unveiled a new brand identity and launched an intensive nationwide media campaign which is designed to raise awareness amongst a new generation of customers.
Philip Toll commented; “Despite difficult market conditions, Portland has enjoyed a 45% increase in sales over the past three months alone, as more customers look for a cost effective way to add quality and value to their homes rather than risk the uncertainty of moving house. Portland has always been known for its quality timber conservatories and we are delighted to now offer an expert installation service for those customers who prefer not to self-build.”
Portland self build timber conservatories start from around £4,500 - with orangeries priced from around £12,000 - the range includes a variety of stunning traditional and contemporary designs. There is also a range of competitive finance options available.
